Reflections of visiting iExperience

Yesterday, Chen qi and I intended  to visit iExperience, and then we could write something about the experience. However, we could not find the place and it wasted a lot of time. After that, we decided to try again today. Thank God, we found the place finally. To be honest, it was an interesting visiting.

To be honest, I never saw this kinds of machine in real life. I only saw it in some old movies. However, I still have no idea how it works.

These photos showed the development of computers and telephones. Form here, I got that the Logo of Apple also changed, it is simpler and only one color. And I think it looks more modern compared to that time.   

There is a banner to show the timeline of their development. It makes easy for people to understand.

A digit photo frame, I like this since it can save space.

When I see this, I have to say that technology changes lifestyle.

At first sight, I totally have no idea about this. The staff over there kindly explained to me what it is, its functions and how it works.

After this journey, I learnt that the development of computers and telephones. Also the new possibilities, and what we can benefit from it .

So far, What i have learnt?

So far, I have learnt quite a lot of things in this class. First of all, I learnt the different types of Internet search facilities. Such as Meta Search Engine and Subject Directory. Normally, I use Google to search the information I needed. And the two search facilities were a bit different from Google. From the practical, I liked Meta Search Engine best since it can collect information from Google, Yahoo, and Bing. I thought it was more helpful. In the future, I think I will use Meta Search Engine more often when I do research. And I think it will help me find more different resources. 

In the past three weeks, I did some practicals. From those practicals, I learnt some website I did not know before, like http://www.stomp.com.sg/ , http ://pinterest.com/, and change.org  website. I thought Pinterest was an interesting website, it was a fun way for people to discover new things and get inspiration from other people. I liked this kind of website: a photo, a story. In my opinion, Pinterest was eye-catching website especially for those like photography. 

Besides that, we also did test 1. To me, I thought it was not very difficult, but I believe that I can do better for the test 2. we also did portfolio part. From the assignment, I learnt the differences between Google and Database and their advantage and disadvantages.  

The first day of EIR

Hi, welcome to my Blog :)

First of all, let me introduce myself. I am CHEN LIRONG, from Product and Industrial Design. Initially,i thought it was an interesting course, but after entering the course, you would find out that you had to put a lot of effort. Even so, I have a lot of fun during the learning process. And for EIR,I think it will make my project easier when I do the research. I also hope i can enjoy learning during this module.


In the spare time, I like reading a novel, watching movie, and listening to music. I like movie because that you can learn life lesson from the movie. When I was disappointed, I would like watching movie like Step Up. I liked the passion of the young people in the movie when they were pursuing their dreams. It totally  made me believe that never give up your dream  whatever
you face. 


Besides that, I like Chinese culture. I think it is an interesting culture.
